App preferences such as cursor movement settings, scheduling options, and interaction preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults framework.
3. Accessibility & Focus Support
Mouse Jiggler is designed to support accessibility, focus, and attention-related interaction needs, including support for users with ADHD, visual accessibility needs, motor accessibility challenges, and assistive interaction workflows.
The app provides subtle cursor movement and interaction feedback intended to help maintain cursor visibility, improve orientation on screen, and reduce repetitive manual interaction.
4. Data Sharing
No personal information is shared with third parties because the app does not collect or transmit personal data.
5. Data Security
All app settings and preferences remain stored locally on your device. Mouse Jiggler does not use external servers for storing user information.
6. User Rights
- Delete Your Data: You can remove all locally stored app settings by deleting the app.
- Modify Preferences: You can change app settings and preferences at any time within the app.

Mouse Jiggler does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.

10. Accessibility Permissions
Mouse Jiggler requires Accessibility permissions to provide cursor movement and optional click actions as part of its core accessibility-focused functionality.
These permissions are used strictly for app functionality and are never used for monitoring, recording, tracking, or collecting personal information.
To prevent unwanted cursor movement while the user is actively interacting with the device, Mouse Jiggler may detect:
- Mouse movement activity
- Scroll events and trackpad gestures
- Keyboard activity (without recording keystrokes)
- Trackpad gestures such as swipe or pinch
- System state events including sleep/wake status
No Keystroke Recording: Mouse Jiggler does not log, record, store, or transmit typed text, passwords, or specific keystrokes. Keyboard activity is used only to detect active interaction.
Accessibility permissions can be enabled or disabled at any time in macOS:
- Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility
- Locate "Mouse Jiggler" and enable or disable access
If Accessibility permissions are disabled, some features such as automated cursor movement and optional click actions may not function properly.
11. Children's Privacy
Mouse Jiggler does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.
12. App Store Compliance
- GDPR: No personal data is processed or transferred outside the device.
- CCPA: Personal information is not sold or shared.
- COPPA: The app is not directed toward children under 13.
